Welcome to our volleyball skill development & game play class run by Sports757!

Classes are taught by current & former college volleyball players who have extensive knowledge of the game and how to properly train players with technical skills / insight into the game!

Students will be separated by age & ability. From beginners to the game to advanced players, our staff will guide students of all abilities. We do get students of all ranging experience levels, we group students by experience in class to make class beneficial and fun for all skill level types!

We do have two separate classes for two age groupings.
Grades: 2 - 6 & Grades: 7 - 12 are two separate classes

Winter Session 1 Dates: December 16 - January 8, 2025

Winter Session 2 Dates: January 13, 2025 - February 19, 2025
Every Monday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm (grades: 2 - 6) in Hampton
Every Monday: 6:30pm – 7:30pm (grades: 7 - 12) in Hampton
Every Tuesday: 6:30pm – 7:30pm (grades: 2 - 12) in Norfolk
*Every Wednesday: 6:30pm – 7:30pm (grades: 2 - 12) in Chesapeake*

NEW - SPEED, SKILL & SCRIMMAGE NIGHT (WEDNESDAYS)

This winter we are offering / introducing a special offseason night in Chesapeake for our volleyball students. The night is going to offer a high level speed, power & conditioning hour, followed by 1 hour of pure volleyball skill development, ending with 1.5 hours of true volleyball scrimmage gameplay.

5:30pm - 6:30pm = Speed & Agility Workout
6:30pm - 7:30pm = Volleyball Skill Development Class
7:30pm - 9pm = Volleyball Scrimmage Gameplay

Parents (please read): NO, you do NOT have to attend all three segments. You CAN attend 1, 2, OR all 3 segments. Total flexibility for you! :)

Hour 1: (Speed & Agility): The speed, power & agility class is appropriate for ALL athletes, but will be customized to optimize volleyball skills, movements & more. It will be led by Coach Kayla Cason & our Sports757 speed staff.

Hour 2: (Skill Development): Will be our true skill development class. We are combining the age groups, BUT, will have several coaches who will strictly separate the students by grade - so the experience is great for all of our advanced players. This skill development will have coaches for developmental players - AND - for elite club level players. Our coaches are ALL current / former Division 1 players who all excelled at the highest club levels.

Hour 3: (Teen Scrimmage): The last 1.5 hours will be true gameplay. Our staff will organized the players by grade & ability, on equal teams. Each student will get equal playing time. Our coaching staff will "ref" the game, along with providing pointers & insight. Students can LEAVE the open gameplay at any time, they do not HAVE to stay until 9pm :)

The purpose of this gameplay is to provide true volleyball gameplay for students without having to belong to a travel, club, private team with expensive club / travel fees - to get good gameplay in.

PLEASE READ: We are ONLY charging $20 for all three workouts, OR, $10 for just the scrimmage / gameplay.
YES :) - if you purchase the "Winter 1, Winter Special, or Punch Card" - you can attend all 3 hours, using only "1 pass" :)

Due to the demand, parents so pleased with the speed + skill in Chesapeake, we have ALSO added to Norfolk. Norfolk will have a 5:30pm speed class + skills training at 6:30pm.
Yes - if students purchase WINTER 1 OR WINTER SPECIAL, they can attend the Speed + Skill in Norfolk. Norfolk will NOT have the 8:30pm scrimmage time (FYI).

CLASS COST PACKAGES

Cost: $100 = 6 week pass (allows student to attend 1 class per week)

“Winter Special” = Winter 1 + Winter 2 for only $150 (12 weeks!)
Cost: $20 per single class – walk up / drop in on ANY class date!
Cost: $150 = 10 class traditional punch card. Can be used on any class, any sport, at any location, on any child in your household. Good until Sept 2025.
Cost: $100 = Monthly Pass (lowest price) = student(s) can attend ANY class, at ANY location, ANY sport for 31 days. No re-occurring charge. Applies to all kids in the household (up to 4), all for $100.

CLASS DETAILS & PARENT INFORMATION

+ Students please bring / wear: athletic attire, sneakers, water bottle
+ Student Ages & Experience Level
Each class, students are separated, train, and play games separated by age & ability. Class is beneficial for beginners to advanced players. Class is CO-ED
+ Parents are welcome to sit, stay & watch at our facility. You do not have to :)
+ Weather is never an issue, all training is indoors on field turf

CLASS GENERAL ITINERARY

Our Volleyball class will have four segments that will train our students athletically, mentally, technically with fun game play!

Part 1 of class: will be a good, short athletic warm up. This warm up will cover athletic movements that cross over to all sports

Part 2 of class: will be true Volleyball technical skills training (individual skill development)

Part 3 of class: will be group drills covering different aspects of the game

Part 4 of class: will be volleyball gameplay. The games will be fun, and guided by our coaches who will point out different "volleyball 101" moments where students can learn and gain insight into how to properly play the game

CLASS PURPOSE

The purpose of this class is to take students through a curriculum that builds base athletic movements, introduces sound technical volleyball skills, in a fun environment that also adds guided gameplay.

Students will feel confident after our programming that they will have improved their skill sets, movements and understanding of the game.

Our company mission is to create confidence in ALL of our students through the teaching of fundamentals.
