TEAM NVC: NORFOLK VOLLEYBALL CLUB
Our company Norfolk Indoor Sports / Sports757.com started volleyball skills training in the spring of 2022. Since 2022 - our volleyball program has grown tremendously, with over 500 students entering our program since 2022.
Our program has grown to provide youth skills training, private lessons, high school training and adult / teen open gym programs year round!
Starting this December 2024 - May 2025, we created and successfully ran our first ever travel / club program, which has been a tremendous success!
We had a great coach & a super competitive team!
In 2025 - 2026, we will field / offer FOUR teams.
Age divisions: 16u, 15u, 14u, 13u.
We will offer 1 team per age division = 4 total teams.
Please read below regarding info on our try outs, coaches, fees, projected tournament schedule & more.
Our club mission is simple. Year long development of your athlete. Thats it. We really work hard to get great coaches, who are dedicated to the team and your athlete's individual development.
The DIFFERENCE with our program, is we only field ONE team per age group, which means your athlete's team is OUR focus!
We pride ourselves on team communication, treating our parents & athletes with upmost professionalism, where everyone involved feels that it is a "first class operation"
We understand there are other GREAT travel / club volleyball programs in the 757 :) We are simply an option for your family / athlete!

What to expect with NVC?
Clear and transparent communication with players & parents - that will be our motto! We are committed to every player and would welcome the opportunity to be a part of your athlete's volleyball journey!
Some parents have already been a part of club / travel volleyball, and some parents are NEW to this whole process.
Below, we try to outline a majority of the info involved with potentially joining our club!
NVC TRY OUT DATES (2025 - 2026 SEASON)
As we mentioned above, we will have 4 teams in the 2025 - 2026 season
16u, 15u, 14u, 13u
Our 16u team is full.
Our 15u team has 1 slot remaining / available.
Our 14u team has 4 slots remaining / available.
Our 13u team has 4 slots remaining / available.
Below are our two try out dates for the 2025 - 2026 season
Sunday September 21: 4pm - 6pm

Cost: $30
Ages: 15, 14, 13, 12
Offers September 21 will go out by Sept 24

TEAM NVC: COACHES & STAFF
The 2025 - 2026 NVC Coaching staff will be announced as formal commitments come through.
All of the coaches that we hire are paid (no volunteer coaches).
Our goal is to hire coaches with many years of club / travel coaching experience.
We also prefer / try to hire coaches with college playing and or coaching experience.
All of our coaches understand and share our philosophy that the purpose of Team NVC is year long development of our athletes.
Because we are a smaller volleyball company, with only 1 team per age division, we take pride in making our teams / your athlete OUR priority!
FEES, CONTRACTS, OFFERS
The 2025 - 2026 club fees will be $2,800 (13u see below)
We pride ourselves on our communication and transparency.
We allow those fees to be broken down into 8 separate payments.
$350 over 8 separate payments.
Team NVC covers all tournament fees, coaching staff, practice facility time, uniforms & "swag" + associated insurance, and ALL club fees.
Our 2024 - 2025 families never received a single club fee outside the fee above, there were ZERO "surprises"
All families are responsible for all travel costs at our "travel tournaments"
If / when Team NVC offers and athlete, a breakdown of all the fees & what Team NVC provides is clearly outlined for consideration in our team contract.
Truthfully - there is very little in the contract beyond the info above.
Our 13u team fee will be $2,000.
Our 13u team will operate EXACTLY as our 16u - 14u teams.
Our 13u team will only play 6 tournaments (all local), opposed to 10.
Nice lower cost, less travel costs for students / families :)
Our 13u team will have exactly the same amount of developmental practices provided to all of our club teams. Same amount of gear, events, media day ect.

TEAM NVC Q + A
Q: How many times per week does TEAM NVC practice?
A: 2x per week. Two, 1.5 hour practices per week
Q: Where are the practices?
A: 1 practice will be in Chesapeake, 1 practice will be at the VB Sportscenter per week
Q: When does the "season" start?
A: We will have 2 - 4 practices in December, before ramping up "full time" in January
Q: How many tournaments does TEAM NVC play?
A: Our team will play in 10 tournaments.
Q: How many tournaments will be local / "out of town"
A: We will play 6 local tournaments, and 4 "out of town" tournaments
Q: How far will "out of town tournaments be?"
A: We will never travel more than 3.5 hours
Q: Does Team NVC do a Media Day?
A: Yes - Team NVC does a full team media day!

Q: Does TEAM NVC involve local D1 college players?
A: Yes - one of the HUGE benefits of TEAM NVC - is that we have over 30 players from ODU, W&M, NSU, VWU & Hampton who work for us YEAR ROUND, with our clinics & training sessions. These athletes will be involved at certain points of the year to speak to our athletes, encourage them and give them insight on a path to playing college volleyball :)
