Welcome to PRE SCHOOL SPORTS at Norfolk Indoor Sports!

We have awesome programs for ages: 1-2 and 3 -6 year round at our awesome sports facility in Norfolk, VA, AND at our new locations in Chesapeake & Hampton!

We have outstanding coaches who are fun, high energy and are great teachers creating a warm welcoming environment!

There is a LOT of info below, but to keep it SIMPLE:
+ We offer 5 different class types, with classes 7 days a week!
+ Class types = "All Sports", Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, + PLUS "Open Gym / Open Play" days / times
+ We have 3 SIMPLE cost packages that make class as low as $5 per class!
+ Parents, your student can join ANY class at ANY time, you can ALWAYS pay right at the door un-announced. We make it easy!

All five class types and descriptions are below. We set up these classes to give parents time & day options that fit busy parent schedules.
All classes are indoors, in an awesome "play" environment at our (3) three different locations!

2024 - 2025 PRE SCHOOL SPORTS SCHEDULE

Winter Session 1 Dates: December 16, 2024 - January 11, 2025
* reminder, NO classes Sun Dec 22 through Sat Dec 28 * (pre-planned)
Winter Session 2 Dates: January 12 - February 22, 2025
+ students can attend ANY class, or join ANY session at ANY time :)
+ all classes at Norfolk Indoor Sports unless noted otherwise :)

10:00am - 10:30am (ages: 1 - 2), 10:30am - 11:00am (ages: 3 - 6)
Monday: "OPEN GYM PLAY"
4pm - 5:30pm (ages: 6 & under)
Tuesday: "ALL SPORTS" Class
9:30am - 10:00am (ages: 1 - 2), 10:00am - 10:30am (ages: 3 - 6)
Tuesday: Basketball Skills (ages: 3 - 6)
5:30pm - 6:30pm - in HAMPTON
Wednesday: Pre School Soccer Class
5:30pm - 6pm (ages: 1 - 2), 6pm - 6:30pm (ages: 3 - 6)
Thursday: Pre School Flag Football Class
5:45pm - 6:30pm (ages: 3 - 6 only)
Thursday: Pre School Flag Football Class
5:45pm - 6:30pm (ages: 3 - 6 only) - in HAMPTON
Saturday: Pre School Soccer Class

COST - PAYMENT OPTIONS

We have 4 package types that makes our classes SUPER affordable and gives options and flexibility for all schedule types!

+ Option 1 (= $5 per class): $100 "Full Package" = 6 weeks!
Allows your student to attend ANY 3 classes or "open play" per week!
+ this option's cost PRO - RATES each week at check out :)
+ so my student can come any any 3 classes or open play per week? YEP! :)

+ Option 2 ($10 per class): 10 class punch card. Pick & choose any 10 classes, any day, any date, any time. Classes are good until August 16, 2025!

+ Option 3 ($15 per class): Single class registration.
Pre-pay online or walk up & pay. Pick any class at any time.
This is for ANY of our classes or OPEN PLAY days.
The only "OPEN PLAY" that will be a different price is our Monday ($5) special.

+ Option 4 (for multi age / multi student families): BEST PRICE
$100 - "unlimited monthly pass"
+ all of your kids, ANY class we offer, at ANY of our locations.
+ $100 = 31 days. Starts when you attend first class, no re-occuring charge

DETAILED CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

1) PRE SCHOOL - "ALL SPORTS CLASS"

Our Pre School "All Sports Class" is an interactive, movement, command and parallel play based class that blends structure and exploration at the same time!

+ an introduction to ALL sports, commands, movements, footwork & more!
+ we teach soccer, basketball, volleyball, throwing, catching, foot sequencing, placing balls in bins & more! This is a great class that allows students to explore MANY sports and skills that translate to ALL sports in the future!

Our trainers will introduce footwork drills, jumping, skipping, throwing, catching, soccer concepts, throwing & catching a soft football, agilities
Basic athletic skills that crossover to ALL future sports they play

Class is MEANT to hit several concepts EACH class to keep the students interested & learning. This is for the parent who wants their child to learn, move, have fun, interact, react to teacher commands & more with a big smile on their face. We will introduce many different sports and work on skills that translate to all future sports kids play :)

2) PRE SCHOOL - SOCCER CLASS

Pre School Soccer is designed for our future "futbol" stars!
Class takes students through introductory skills, simple drills, group activities and fun gameplay!
Each class itinerary is up beat, fun, interactive, and keeps the students engaged! These soccer classes are taught by current & former D1 players and coaches who understand how to teach sound fundamentals GREAT!

3) FLAG FOOTBALL FOR AGES: 3 - 6

This is YEAR #4 of our very popular Flag Football for ages: 3 - 6
This is part learning, part skill instruction, part GAME PLAY!
Class is taught by our D1 football players at Old Dominion, Hampton & Norfolk State who do an OUTSTANDING job with our young students
Our company does year long football classes in over 20 elementary schools in the 757 - run by the same instructors!

The "Flag Football" class itinerary is as follows:
We will start with a "D1 warm up" - teaching young students simple running and kinetic movements, prepping them for "youth football" warm ups
We will transition to "footwork & agility work" - where students will learn the speed ladder, mini hurdles, plyometric movements & more
The third portion of class we will hi-lite and offensive & defensive skill set each class. Throwing, catching, back pedal, coverage & more. All the basic football skills young students need, taught properly & age appropriate
Finally we will end with Flag Football Games where students will be divided up and play 4 v 4 & 5 v 5. We will structure, run, and oversee all the fun gameplay.

4) PRE - SCHOOL "OPEN PLAY GYM"

As our toddler & pre school programs grow, we wanted to create more "OPEN PLAY" opportunities for parents & athletes to come inside, use our equipment - just a fun time & space to run, play, explore & more :)
Parent guided: All OPEN PLAY / OPEN GYM blocks REQUIRE the parents to supervise their own child :)
Monday "OPEN GYM" is a 2.5 hour block, where we take out ALL of our toddler & pre school equipment and let the parents & kids enjoy the use of our facility & equipment. We do not do "teaching" during this hour, this intended for parents to bring their child in - and allow them to play, explore, interact & more!
This program is FREE for anyone who purchases our $100, 6 week package, OR, $5 at the door for this one day.
Soccer, basketball, bounce house, hoops, soft balls, soft play - we will have it all out each Monday!

CLASS DETAILS & PARENT INFORMATION

+ Students please bring / wear: athletic attire, water bottle, if students have cleats, they are more than welcome to wear them (not required)
+ Norfolk Indoor Sports Turf Facility
Has water fountains, 2 bathrooms, is indoors on field turf
+ Student Ages & Experience Level
+ Parents are welcome to sit, stay & watch at our facility.
+ Weather is never an issue, all training is indoors on field turf
+ We provide ALL equipment for class, students do not need to bring ANY equipment

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT NORFOLK INDOOR

Our rental price is $100 per hour which includes everything! Includes tables, chairs, game play - ZERO additional fees.
