VIRGINIA BEACH SPEED WEEK

What to bring / wear:
All students need to wear sneakers & bring a water bottle and wear sneakers!
Parents: Yes, there is space for parents to stay & watch
WHAT TO EXPECT
The entire purpose of this 1 hour speed, agility, change of direction, plyometric & conditioning workout is to take students through a very high end, Division 1 style speed mechanic workout.
We will be TEACHING while we TRAIN. Meaning we will be explaining the WHY for each movement.
Explaining to the athletes WHY we are doing each movement.
We will reiterate through the entire workout, each day - that we are providing a blueprint for HOW to properly warm up, train, and conditioning an athlete's body.
We will be PROVIDING the printed workout to students each day, for them to keep, for them to use throughout the summer & in their career.
Running form, sprint mechanics, body positioning, agility work, change of direction, plyometrics, mobility & more!
Training is run by Ron Whitcomb, who is a Division 1 Football Coach at the University at Buffalo. Prior to Buffalo - he coached at Old Dominion Football for 13 years. Coach Whitcomb has his USA Strength & Conditioning certification. The training is designed for ALL athlete types.
This camp is Monday - Thursday at the Virginia Beach Sportscenter - an outstanding facility at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach.
