PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP WITH SPORTS757

Sports757 is a local company that does sports training for youth, teens & adults in all 7 cities of the 757!
Over the past 10 years, our small company has grown tremendously, specifically with our digital, social & online presence.
Part of that growth, is the collaboration work we do with many of the TOP photographers in the 757 (you name them, we have probably worked with them)
We are fortunate enough to have Ariana Wagner (ODU student, local photographer) work for us "in house" - who does much of our high end photography.
Ariana's full story is below, but she is a self taught, hard working young person who has grown working for our company since high school!
Each day of camp, Ariana will take students through the ABC's of photography, along with some of the more advanced portions of lighting, sensors, uploading, graphic design, backgrounds, settings & more.
We also teach students HOW to get their own "brand + business" going from scratch!
The camp is ALL indoors, tons of different activities, we hope students leave learning a ton and wanting more!

PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP DATES

Session 1: Monday June 15 - Wednesday June 17, 2026
at Norfolk Indoor Sports: 202 W. 22 St. Norfolk VA
Session 2: Monday June 22 - Wednesday June 24, 2026
at the VB Sports Center: 1045 19th St. Virginia Beach VA
Session 3: Monday July 6 - Wednesday July 8

Camp Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm (daily)
Drop Off: 8:45am - 9:00am (daily)

Cost: $200 / "week" OR $75 / day
* we are ONLY accepting 6 students per session *

Please read: Out of respect to our photographer, and this have a 6 student cap, there is a 50% penalty on any refund. If you are uncertain of your summer plans, PLEASE do not register :)

Day 1:
9:00am - 9:30am - Overview of the equipment (camera)
9:30am - 10:00am - Action Shots
10:00am - 10:30am - Uploading Action Shots to Phones / Tablets
10:30 - 11:00am - Creative Design, Lighting, Marks
11:00am - 11:30am - Head Shots
11:30am - 12:00pm - Creating a Creative Page

Day 2:
9:00am - 9:30am - Lighting & Backgrounds
9:30am - 10:00am - Majestic Shots
10:00am - 10:30am - Uploading Majestic Shots to Phones / Tablets
10:30am - 11:00am - Creative Design (Teaching Overlays)
11:00 - 11:30am - Creative Shots (smoke, strobe light, mirrors)
11:30am - 12:00pm - Starting resume'

Day 3:
9:00am - 9:30am - Setting Up Backdrop, Lighting, Staging a Photoshoot
9:30am - 10:00am - Full Photoshoot
10:00am - 10:30am - Uploading Photoshoot to to Phones / Tablets
10:30am - 11:00am - Creative Design: removing and changing backgrounds
11:00am - 11:30am - Video interviews of athletes
11:30am - 12:00pm - Combining video with photo

QUESTIONS + ANSWERS

Q: Is the camp indoors?
A: The camp is completely indoors

Q: Does my student need their own camera?
A: No student needs ANY camera

Q: If my student HAS their own camera, can they bring it?
A: Yes - your student is more than welcome to bring their own equipment

Q: What does my student NEED to bring?
A: We would like if all students brought ONE of three items
A macbook, a fully charged iphone, or a fully charged ipad
(please no non apple products)

Q: My student would love to attend, but does not have any of these items

SPORTS757 - ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP FUND

Each summer, we offer families the "option" to donate one day or one week of camp to another family in the 757 who could use the help.
If you are a family who would could use some help, please fill out this link, as we receive donations, we will contact you to attend any of our dates for free!
Last summer, we were able to assist over 50 families due to our super gracious families!

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT NORFOLK INDOOR

Our rental price is $100 per hour which includes everything! Includes tables, chairs, game play - ZERO additional fees. We even have bounce house options now!
