This one day camp takes Quarterbacks through a very detailed itinerary that focuses on specific footwork, drops, throwing mechanics & more.
Camp will be run by Ron Whitcomb, current D1 college coach at the University at Buffalo. Coach Whitcomb coached Quarterbacks at Old Dominion for 13 years (2007 - 2019), along with coaching Quarterbacks at Buffalo.
A very detailed itinerary is provided below, which outlines the comprehensive Quarterback experience we have planned.
There will be a separate Wide Receiver Coach in attendance working with the Wide Receivers, RB + TE's
The QB + WR's will come together at the end of camp for live throwing of routes!

9:10am - College Level Body Warm Up
+ a workout warm up students can use the rest of the summer!
9:20am - Quarterback Throwing Mechanics Overview
+ proper base, ground force, foot placement & steps, rotational force & more
9:45am - Quick Game Footwork & Review (under center / shotgun)
+ proper footwork allowing QB's to throw the ball quickly + accurately
10:00am - Throwing on the Run Mechanics
+ sprint pass & naked pass. plus football 101 on sprint concepts.
10:20am - Shotgun (3 step), Under Center (5 step) Footwork & Route Tree
10:45am - RPO (Run Pass Option) Hands, Eyes & Hip Work
11:00am - Break / Snack / Overview of "Routes on Air"
11:05am - Routes with the Wide Receivers
+ Quick Game, Intermediate, On the Run, Deep Throws
11:30am - End of Camp
+ all drills, mechanics, footwork will be sent to parents with video from camp
+ parents are able to stay, watch, film drills to use throughout the summer

+ hitch, slant, whip, quick out, option, arrow
10:00am - Understanding leverage overview - losing your defender
+ avoiding contact, stemming a defender, leaning + leaving
10:20am - Intermediate pass routes
+ dig, corner, comeback, curl, seam
10:45am - RPO (Run Pass Option)
+ complete overview of the route concepts & why!
11:00am - Break / Snack / Overview of "Routes on Air"
11:05am - Routes with the Quarterbacks
+ Quick Game, Intermediate, On the Run, Deep Throws

+ Students please bring / wear: athletic attire, football cleats (any kind), water bottle, youth football (if you have one). Equipment is NOT necessary
+ Norfolk Indoor Sports Turf
Has water fountains, 2 bathrooms, is indoors on field turf
+ Student Ages & Experience Level
Each class, students are separated, train, and play games separated by age & ability. Class is beneficial for beginners to advanced players. Class is CO-ED
+ Parents are welcome to sit, stay & watch at our facility. You do not have to :)
+ Weather is never an issue, all training is indoors on field turf
+ Norfolk Indoor Sports will provide daily snack with pretzels, chips, fruit & water. Thursday will be "Pizza Party" day
+ Students CAN bring their own snack / drink for snack time
